The Geography of XukynsiousThere's really only one major capital of this place, the rest are little communities and regions. There are no cities noted on the map because the regions themselves are more organized than what could be considered cities.

Northern Pass×Northern Heights Mana Crater- The Mana Crater will forever remain a reminder to the Devil Xukyn as what happens when you take more from the planet than it can handle. The Northern Heights, having once been the sub-capital of Xukynsious, it rivaled the city of Qing Yuan. Craving to be better, the Devil Xukyns harvested more and more energy from the planet to create machinery that the world once only dreamed was possible. However, they unknowingly sitting atop a fault line, began to pull too much Mana from Xukynsious at once which resulted in the Northern Heights literally imploding in on itself. All that remains now is the smoldering remains of a once mechanical city that glows with an ethereal light, anchoring all souls lost on Xukynsious to the Necropolis just off the coast from it.
×Northern Heights - A small, humble village just on the outskirts of the Mana Crater, its only inhabitants seem to be the elderly and a few families of descendants of those who survived the Great Northern Disaster. Though all of Xukynsious receives the same amount of sunlight, this place finds itself in a permanent midnight accompanied with an ever-present snow. Those who live here, while friendly and welcoming, rarely see many people outside of tourists and those wishing to make pilgrimage to the Mana Crater and Necropolis to pay their respects to the dead or learn more about the accident. The style of housing are typical log cabins, roughly built, though surprisingly warm despite the temperature outside.
×The Necropolis - Aptly named the Necropolis for the fact that many of the spirits of the dearly departed can be seen roaming it since the Great Northern Disaster, anyone who dies within the village is brought out here and buried in hopes that keeping their body close with their soul will ease the torment of being stuck on the planet rather than being able to move on. Accessible only by boat, the main island and those others surrounding it are encased by iron fences to keep out grave robbers and mischievous necromancers who wish to reanimate corpses.

Eastern Greatforge×Qing Yuan - The Great Aquatic Metropolis and capital of Xukynsious, its quite honestly the only formal city left on the planet after the Great Northern Disaster destroyed Northern Heights. Both Academy and Militia College reside here, as well as the High Temple where the Princess resides. The price to live in this city of luxury has been going up for the past few years, and many cannot afford to live here, nor send their children to school. As it is a requirement for those who test high enough to go to these schools, many end up going on military scholarships which replace their normal military pay for tuition.
×The Central Plains - A great land of vegetation, the only thing that links it with the land where Qing Yuan resides is a small land bridge. As one of the primary sources of farming and hunting, there are many who finish and retire from school or other jobs only to have the Government pay them to live out in the barren land to obtain sustenance for Qing Yuan.

Southfall Savannah×Obsidian Oasis - The Obsidian Oasis is the sole source of water for those who live in the Southfall region and can be thusly thought of as the capital of it, though its really the only main “establishment.” The pride and joy of the druids who remain here, they have sewn life in the barren Savannah and created a tiny oasis capable of sustaining life. Serving as a watering hole for man and beast both, the animals and Xukyns have a truce of sorts. Neither attack the other while they drink here, but in the plains, its fair game.
×Southern Plains - Desolate, yellow, and dry prairie spans for as far as the eye can see. Some trees do sprout here and there, though withered and unhealthy as they seem, always in the company of brush of some sort. Though always sunny and hot here, there are rare times when a storm may spawn. Thunderstorms are potentially lethal for all forms of life on this prairie as buckets of rain will fall before the ground can soak it up, causing flash floods. Cloud to ground lightening threaten to spark wildfires that could burn miles of prairie before the rain has a chance to put it out. The flood season seems to last only two to three months out of the year.

Western Sutherland×The Ancient Forest - Large trees of unfathomable ages raise high into the sky here, their leaves causing a sort of canopy that only lets sparks of sunlight through onto the floor. Seemingly enchanted, the trees themselves almost seem like a source of magic. Its rumored that to walk through the Ancient Forests, the very trees will gossip about you and you'll hear their whispers on the wind as you travel through, though it could just be the Xukyn's here, hiding, watching who it is that dare tred close to their home.
×Greenland Deadwastes - The Deadwastes is a vast swampland that would deliver you straight into the icy maw of the Hell known as the Northern Pass should you follow it North long enough. That being said, many find themselves to be lost for quite some time in the Deadwastes, no two travelers able to say they've traveled the same way through it. Some have traveled for days in one direction only to set up camp and wake up the next morning back where they had started originally. Quicksand is common here and completely blends in with the swampland surrounding it.

Southern Plaguelands×Delilah Sands - A land of exile and the “capital” of the Southern Plaguelands, this desert wasteland plays home to both prisoners and those too poor to live anywhere else. Military deserters, murderers, the sick... they've all been deposited here, hidden away behind the Saiyoru Mountain Range to be “out of sight, out of mind.” Once the homeland of the Deific Xukyns, those who remain take care of the sick, injured, and otherwise, or have been killed by the thugs and murderers. Everyday they find themselves pushed further towards the ocean, but their faith in the Mother Divine leads them to believe that one day, they will have salvation from this.
[/i] ×Valley of the Fallen Ones- The place of resting for those who once ruled over the planet of Xukynsious, this illustrious island has not been seen by any who still live to tell the tale. When a Princess grows too old and her replacement has made the final step to take her place, she travels on a pilgrimage to the island who then remain on the island on her until she dies. This becomes their final resting place as well, expected to follow her into the next life to assist her and guide the spirits of future Princesses into the correct hosts.
